+ Legend of Zelda (or Peachmelons) +

I find myself in my backyward, doing some yardwor with my Mom. I see Link (from the games Legend of Zelda) walk in, he seems frantic. He asks for something from us and we lend it to him. Suddenly, I ask as he's leaving if I could go with him. He looks at me like I'm stupid and says in a kind of embarrassed way, "Well, I don't think I want a girl with me..." I glare and tell him I could kick his ass anyday. He seems to take this as truth and decides to let me go.

We walk down the street and suddenly the scene changes (time passed). Now we're in a forest, I realize we are delivering something but I have no idea what at this time. Link is ahead of me and, as he clears the forest, a supposed-theif (a chubby rich-looking man) attacks me (again underestimating the power of Laurel's kick-ass-ness). I see that I have a metal stick about as long as my arm so I use it now to block his dagger. Link still hasn't realized I'm no longer following. -_-

Somehow I get the dagger and Link gets behind him. The theif asks us if we are going to steal from him as he holds his hands up in defeat, but Link replies that we were the good guys and weren't going to steal. I throw down his dagger so it gets stuck in the ground and we ran out of the forest.

Finally we reach our destination, a small 'village' that Link came from. We were delivering food, it seems. An old man tells a younger boy to open a celler door so they can see how much food they have. The boy seems reluctant, but finally opens it. They only have a few potatoes in there. I feel bad, because I could have brought stuff for them if I had known. The food we delivered was a crate of "Peachmelons", a combination of peaches, with red watermelon insides. It was really good!

This is the same for every dream linked below!

Many of my dreams are connected to or part of a recurring dream series I have come to call The Journey. It is an ongoing story that revolves around three (two?) teenagers between the ages of 16 and 19 inclusive. The order I have placed them in my journal is not the order of occurrence in the Journey. Each event is just another piece of the puzzle though in the second dream I am younger than in the first and third and in the third I am older than in the first or second.

Despite the confusing settings and lack of (in some cases) awareness, the dream has intrigued me ever since I first had it. It is a part of almost every dream I have and the characters are not limited to just this series. Sometimes they appear in other forms, ages, lives... I am not sure if I believe in reincarnation, but that is subject to change.

There are three main characters... well, maybe; one character is not so definite as the others. First there is the dark-haired Asian girl. I first encountered her in the third dream but later remembered that she had been present in the first as well. She is logical and well-informed about our quest, often being the one to have a clear head in a difficult situation. I also know that she constantly keeps her emotions contained in order to lead in places where I cannot. This worries her companions quite a lot as she loses something precious to her at one point and must go on without time to mourn. (I am now thinking “but we have all lost something.”) This girl may or may not be my good friend Ann... the resemblance is uncanny though, both in personality and in appearance.

The next character is a dark-haired boy I have named Sullivan (I associate him with Syaoran from TRC when it comes to appearance, age and, in a way, personality). I do not have a clear picture of his face not do I know very much about him. He is mostly silent... though, in the third dream I may have actually been him. If that is the case then he's cautious, thoughtful and apprehensive. He stares at the sky a lot too (see first dream). I first 'met' him in an undated dream in which I was standing in my bathroom looking into the mirror. It was positioned so that I could easily see my bedroom door. Moving a little to see it better I suddenly notice him sitting up against my wall on the bed. "It's you!” I say. He replies with a smile, “It is.” I believe he has (or may have had) a romantic relationship with one of the female characters (or the female character, depending on whether or not the next character is real). From what I've gathered in the fourth dream, Sully is (or tries to be) supportive before our journey begins and slowly becomes more serious and quiet as we continue.

I am the most unpredictable character in the story. I’m not even sure if "this me" is actually in it! In the first dream I think I am myself. But in the second I appear to be a girl will curly dark brown hair (I call her Kite, because I just keep getting that name ehenever I try to think). In the third I may actually be acting from Sullivan's point of view. Because of my in-dream ability to see from the eyes of my companions it's very hard to tell whether I am actually there or not. In dreams, I'll call her Kite, just so that she can be identified as a seperate person (yet still me, in a way).

If you've read my story "Beyond Forgotten" you'll realize that I based both main characters on the two dream characters, Sullivan and Kite (in Beyond Forgotten Kite is known as Kes)... you'll see in-dream Ann (or Alice) in chapter seven (though, the character will only be meant to play the part, not resemble her at all)

There are also a few supporting characters; the "enemy" from the third dream as well as the nurses and the two children (never mentioned) from the second. The "enemy" (I cannot recall his appearance but I associate him with Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible... for no reason whatsoever. I really have no idea why...) The gadget he was working with is also hard to remember. The nurses are merely trying to help me, they seemed concerned (which made sense seeing as I had been pretty much frozen).

The settings are probably the most confusing... they are meant to be symbolic, not literal. In the dream entitled "The King of Mice" we are in my school but that is meant to be representation of whatever the actual quest means (perhaps even that dream itself does that too). In the first Journey dream, Sully and I stand in the backyard of my house in Stittsville and in the third we are on the second floor of my house. In the fourth, Sully and I are in my elemantray school's Gym. There are also a number of non-series dreams that have Sullivan, Ann, and I in various other locations.

Speaking of those other dreams, see "The King of Mice" (Sullivan), "The Same Sword?" (the sword from the third dream?), and Waking up in the Future (Sullivan). A few other dreams may have included the characters/objects from The Journey series but I'm not sure; "The Watercolour Camera" (Sullivan?), "Future Alien School" (?), "The Test" (Journey-series Ann), "Jenny the Busdriver" (Sarah from The King of Mice?).
