+ Waking up in the Future +
I don't remember much about the first dream other than at the end I was peeling layer upon layer of bandaids and tape off my mouth. I was cryinbg and the tears weakened the adhesive and allowed me to pull them off. Then I "woke up" from that dream relieved tha it was over. My room was dark, apparently lit by the tiny string of lights I used to keep over the bed. I looked at the clock like I normally do and it said 7:49pm. This confused me because outside it was still very dark.
I looked at my calender and was surprised to find that it was on a different month, in fact, it was a different calender altogether! I had written something on the top half of the calender (where the image normally is), something about Sullivan I had written years before. It reminded me of a journal entry I made just last night... at 7:49 pm exactly. A line had been drawn below it and it different handwriting Sullivan had written something about the entry above. I don't remember what he said exactly but he wrote about being happy that I waited for him (my original journal entry was about wondering whether or not I should be waiting or if I doing that is the one thing I shouldn't.) Below that another line was drawn and something else was written but I never read that...
Instead, I looked at what appeared to be a shelf on my wall right next to be bed where there is only wall now. A large, yet thin hardcover book was there. It featured an expanse of stars and a title that covered the entire front ("something something and other stories about stars"). I took this book beside me and suddenly the calender was a book and the notes were written inside the cover. I remember thinking, "it's the future" before I went to sleep with the two books and woke up.
Actually woke up this time.
